Meditation project
Hello, the benefits of meditation are well documented on the Internet, Books, so i will not go on one.... I am currently tracing back to where I began with meditation quite simply by sitting and relaxing in a quiet room with out the telephone or any other communication device to disturb, listening to some guided meditation from a cd which was ok, but i still wanted to explore other methods, so onward I go and then found another guided meditation using a candle as a focus point which also worked well, how do you measure success of meditation? well first depends what intention you have if you are looking to be able to relax, quiet the mind let all those thoughts just eb away, then a simple measure of that would be that after the meditation how do you feel? I am not going to focus on if you can or can not meditate because that is not what i intend this blog to be about... I see this as i see all the blogs to be as informative as I can be..so on we go, I have gathered a few meditation pieces now, I just pick and choose as I feel not following any order, meditation as like all things it seems the more you do the more things seem to unfold in front of you, however this really does depend on what you want from you meditation.after a time I find that I now want to have some kind of focus so this can be in the form of a focus point E.G. say I want to focus on my life path or healing or happyness, you see what I am saying well it works to give a more channeled experience. Try it see what you think?other things to try are Mantra's these can be very powerful and I am in my early experience of these so watch this space as they say.....
